Embed your documents
with edocr
One of the most powerful things you can do with your documents shared
on edocr is 'embed' them on a web page or within a blog. All it takes is a
snippet of code that we provide directly from our view page.
Embed the full view of the document, or a thumbnail that provides a click
event to view the full size document. You can also add a 'Follow' link
allowing your content followers to be notified by email if the document, or
group of documents, is modified, added to, or replaced.
Start by storing the document on
edocr
, or on any cloud accessible storage
site such as Dropbox, then open to view the document on edocr. When you
publish your document on edocr you have the choice of three HTML5
viewers for display: Vertical scroll (like this document), horizontal scroll (like
e-reader) or slideshow (with timed auto page advance). Our
mobile-responsive viewers then provide a seamless experience with your
content regardless of device it is being viewed on.
Now, it’s time to embed! It’s this easy:
1. Open the document you wish to embed in a web page or blog.
2. Click that embed symbol
</>
on the top right of the page. Four
options will appear, as shown below, with the snippet of code you
need to embed the edocr HTML5 viewer onto your site:
3. Copy the embed code & paste it into your web page or blog's HTML
source in the appropriate spot.
4. DONE!
Or, just
