of smoke eater will work best for you. There are many models and filtration types.
Mounting Options:
Flush Ceiling Mounts
The LakeAir LAFC was designed to fit easily into a 2ʹ x 4ʹ ceiling grid. These units weigh about 100 pounds and
require only 11 inches of head room. Our New 2x2CM models flit into a 2ʹ x 2ʹ ceiling grid. Both of the units can
also be mounted flush to the ceiling in a dry wall or plaster ceiling. You will need create a frame in the ceiling
for non drop ceilings.
These models are equipped with 4 eyebolts for easy hanging. Their relatively light weight allow them to be
hung in most any structure. You should be able to hang them from the same supports that the drop ceiling is
hung from. you can find more information on the hanging procedures in the product manuals.
Direct to Ceiling Mounts
It is possible to mount our LAFC and 2x2CM directly to the ceiling. We make mounting brackets that will allow
you to fasten the commercial smoke removal machines directly ceiling rafters. The brackets are sturdy and use
a 24 inch center configuration common in many commercial buildings. The LAFC and 2x2CM models have
galvanized steel exteriors that you may want to paint or cover with the appropriate skirting kits available as a
separate option.
