SN 031296 NET CONTENTS: MANUFACTURED FOR HELENA CHEMICAL COMPANY MEMPHIS, TN 38119 Specimen Label formatted for electronic distribution by CDMS GENERAL INFORMATION WIPEOUT is a highly concentrated cleaner that penetrates and solubilizes agricultural chemical residues. WIPEOUT will also help prevent contaminants form re-adhering to spray system surfaces during flushing. WIPEOUT neutralizes acid residue and is formulated to counteract the detrimental effects of minerals commonly found in hard water. With the development of today's new low use-rate agricultural pesticide compounds, along with the increased usage of tank-mix applications, special attention should be given to cleaning the spray system thoroughly. To attain optimum results, clean spray system as soon as possible after usage, check hoses for leaks and aging, clean screens and nozzles thoroughly with WIPEOUT solution, and make sure all pumps are clean as well as lid and outer tank. SUGGESTED USE RATE LARGE VOLUME SPRAYERS - USE RATE: 400:1 ratio (1 gallon of WIPEOUT to 400 gallons of water or 1 quart of WIPEOUT to 100 gallons of water). Adjust the solution rate as needed for individual conditions. Older poly tanks or dirty tanks will require a stronger solution. If the foam in the treated solution begins to dissipate, add more WIPEOUT to increase the solution's cleaning strength. Circulate the WIPEOUT treated solution throughout the spray system for 10 - 15 minutes. Use a high pressure sprayer or hose to clean then re-circulate. Purge hoses, spray lines and nozzles for at least 1 minute with the cleaning solution. After cleaning, drain and flush entire system, including nozzles, with clean water. HAND HELD SPRAYERS - USE RATE: 1 ounce of WIPEOUT per gallon of rinse water. Agitate thoroughly, drain and follow with clean water rinse. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS/RINSATE TESTING The use of WIPEOUT or other tank cleaners does not guarantee the removal and/or neutraliza- tion of all residues. Some pesticides such as 2,4-D and Dicamba, may leave persistent or hard to remove residues. Due to many variables that exist which make consistent tank cleaning difficult (i.e., water quality, use of cleaning equipment, quantity and type of residue, the age, condition and type of spray tank, spray lines, nozzles, etc.), it is always suggested that operators test the final rinsate to ensure that no pesticide residue remains. This can be accomplished by the follow- ing test method: Retain a small sample of the final rinsate and apply it to one or more sensitive plants such as an ornamental flower, tomato or cotton plant. Observe the treated plant for 48 hours. If damage occurs, clean the spray system until the rinsate tests pesticide free. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Store in original container only. Keep container tightly closed, do not allow water to be introduced into the contents of this container. Do not contaminate water sources by runoff from cleaning of equipment, disposal of equipment washwaters or spray waste. Do not store near heat or open flame. CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Triple rinse (or equivalent) and add rinsate to spray tank, then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of according to state and local authorities. If burned, stay out of smoke. ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS Do not contaminate waters sources by cleaning of equipment or disposal of rinsate.
