Author Information
Dr. Irwin is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Auburn University. He is a fellow
at the American Society for Engineering Education and Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers. Dr. Irwin serves as president of Eta Kappa Nu the Electrical and Computer Engineering
Honour Society, and chair of the IEEE Undergraduate and Graduate Teaching Award Committee,
International Advisory Board, 2006 IEEE Conference on Industrial Technology, and the Steering
Committee, 2007 IEEE Internation Symposium on Industrial Electronics. His research interests
include Building large multidisciplinary programs and Circuit Analysis and Design; Network Security.
