Has jaundice begun within the last 7 days?
Jaundice is defined as yellowish pigment of the
skin, tissues, & body fluids.
If yes - Report to PIC
Cover wounds on hands and
exposed arm with
impermeable cover over
lesion and a single use glove
over impermeable cover.
Other infected lesions to be
covered by dry, durable, tight
fitting bandage
Employee has no symptoms of acute gastro-
enteritis but has positive stool cultures for:
•Salmonella Typhi
If yes-
•Shigella spp
Report to PIC
•E coli 0157:H7
Has employee had a past illness from:
•S. Typhi in last 3 month
•Shigella spp in last month
•Shiga toxin producing E-coli in past month
•Hep A virus
If yes - Report to PIC
NO RESTRICTIONS REQUIRED
Does employee meets a high-risk condition:
•Suspected of causing or being exposed to, a confirmed
outbreak of the BIG 4
•Lives with someone diagnosed w/ BIG 4
•Lives with and has knowledge about a person who attends or
works in a place that has a confirmed disease outbreak caused
by BIG 4 If yes - Report to PIC
