So, what is the clever tech that makes it possible? Introduced in the
US in 1996 and Europe in 2001, OBD2 refers to an on-board self-
diagnostic system that reports problems with your vehicle.
Multiple sensors throughout your car
send signals to an electronic control
unit (ECU). This information can be
accessed via a port, usually located
under your steering wheel.
The FIXD device plugs directly into this port, and can then send
information to any Android or iOS device via Bluetooth.
The downloadable application
provides you with a host of vehicle
health information, including how
serious any issues are, and whether it
is safe to continue driving.
