FAMILY EUCINETIDAE
(Plate-thigh beetles)
J.M. Campbell
This small family contains about 30 species throughout the world; seven of them, placed in one genus, are known from Canada. These
beetles are associated with fungal decay and are found in leaf litter or under bark of fungus-infested logs.
The species of this family, as part of the Dascillidae, were last reviewed by Horn (1880); they are poorly known taxonomically.
