Carving out some me-time is important for everyone’s well-being. The tricky part? Finding the time, & discovering what relaxing me-time means for you. Try to set a designated time somewhere in the day or evening to spend on yourself. Shooting for the same time each day helps create a habit that will eventually become part of your weekly panning, assuring it will happen. Make sure everyone knows this time is non-negotiable, & that everyone will benefit from leaving you to it! Finding what’s relaxing is different for everyone. For some, it’s cooking or gardening. For others it’s long walks or swimming. Others still, napping, reading or writing in a journal, or taking a scented bath. Whatever it is that encourages you to calm down, clear your mind, take a deep breath & relax. Taking me-time to chill is the best way to refresh yourself. You deserve it!
