Evans Cycles Supports Open Garden Squares Weekend
Evans Cycles is offering free mechanical support for cyclist’s taking part in the Open Garden
Squares weekend bike rides on Sunday June 13th, 2010.
(PRWEB) June 4, 2010 -- London Parks & Gardens Trust is encouraging visitors to cycle and walk between the
gardens participating in the Open Garden Squares Weekend which will takes place on June 12 & 13, 2010. More
than 200 gardens will be taking part this year.
On both days, there will be the popular, free, guided bike ride – you just need to present your ticket! This is a
relaxing and informal way for cyclists to explore some of the gardens and it is not compulsory to stay for the
whole day.
Evans Cycles, will be a partner to the weekend and will be available to give advice in Russell Square. On Sunday
they will be providing a complimentary repair and minor tune-up service to make sure your bike is ready for a
ride around the gardens.
Just drop into Russell Square any time after 9am to get your bike checked over by the qualified mechanics. While
you wait – have a look at some of the latest VIVA bikes that will be on display!
Below are details of the rides.
Saturday, June 12 – meet at 10am outside the café at the north end of the Broad Walk, Kensington Gardens for a
ride around the gardens in Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham. Will finish by 5.30pm.
Sunday, June 13 – starts at 10am outside St Paul’s Church at the west end of the Covent Garden Piazza for a tour
of gardens in Islington, Hackney and Tower Hamlets. This ride will include one of the first two cycle
superhighways and the Green Bridge. Will finish by 5.30pm.
