Ealing Volunteer Group Offers BAME Women Domestic Violence Counselling Support Sometimes all we need is a little help to get our lives on track. Asian Community Concern wants you to know that you're not alone, and it's here to provide the support you need. The organisation provides economic, social and educational support to individuals and families in Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities in Ealing, London. Whether through its women's outreach programmes or community development projects, Asian Community Concern works diligently to assist those in need and create community cohesion. The group seeks to build strong communities through its outreach services and provides mental health support. It also helps women suffering from domestic violence or abuse. Asian Community Concern assists with issues that arise from such violence, including homelessness, and supports asylum seekers. It also provides referrals to specialist services. The group facilitates activities that help low-income and educationally disadvantaged women learn new skills, access vocational and training opportunities, and become empowered. Additionally, the Southall-based organisation provides food and supply distribution to BAME communities and families in need affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
