Updated Search Features Effective Document Management requires the ability to find the particular document you need quickly and easily. edocr has more and more users storing documents that they do not want public or indexed by google, but they do want to be able to find these private documents easily. For this reason edocr has upgraded search capabilities on our site and added additional search capabilities for our Premium users. The first thing all users will notice is that our Global Site Search no longer requires a selection of Profile or Documents, as we have combined both into a single search box, upgrading our search logic to bring the most relevant results from either a Profile or document post on our site. But, more importantly for our Premium users we have added Profile Search, allowing a quick search of all documents on their profile, whether public or private. Or, they can do a quick search of any other Profile for public documents as a more targeted search than is available to Free Users. Since edocr does text extraction on every document submitted (unless image only) our Premium users can find any document they need almost immediately by typing a key word or phrase into the Profile Search box. As many of our users are organizing their documents within Collection Folders (learn about Collections here), such as "Customer Contracts", "Vendor Contracts", "HR Documents", "Marketing Documents", etc., so we also added Collection Search for our Premium Users so they can even more quickly find the exact document they need. We hope this greatly enhances our Premium Users' experience for storing and managing documents on edocr. Not a Premium user? Why not, you may get started for $9.95 per year for 5BBs of document storage, or a five user DMS with 20GBs of document storage for $129.95 per year. Premium Plan Overview here. edocr Pricing here.
