Andy Purves Business & Strategic Development Having merged his accountancy practice with DH&Co in 2015, Andy is focused on raising finance, consulting on strategic development and delivering commercial advisory services to clients. Since qualifying in 1992 Andy has started, bought, managed, grown, diversified, restructured and sold his own and clients businesses. He is also the MD of three SME businesses with diverse operations in the service, retail, motor, manufacturing and property sectors. Victoria Ivinson Director Victoria has worked with Douglas Home & Co since 2007. She is the Head of Advisory and oversees tax planning work for the firm. Victoria is a qualified CA and specialises in Agricultural and Equine Clients due to having a background and interest in both. She is also an expert in all areas of tax including IHT, CGT, R&D and Capital Allowances. Caroline Tice Director Caroline has worked with the company for 26 years before which she graduated with a degree in Business Studies from Edinburgh Napier University. She is also a qualified CA through the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland. Within Douglas Home & Co, Caroline specialises in general accountancy practice and HR. Sheryl Macaulay Director Sheryl has been with the firm since 2002. Having begun her training in Accounts and Audit, Sheryl now specialises in Tax Planning with expert knowledge in areas such as IHT, CGT, Family Trusts, Corporation Tax, VAT and succession planning. She has a great understanding of many industries, allowing her to provide tailored advice to a large variety of clients. Alan Dummond Director Alan has been with Douglas Home & Co since 1990 having previously worked in the financial services industry in London. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a Fellow of the Association of Accounting Technicians both of which have allowed him to gain a vast array of industry knowledge.
