A Study of the U.S. Online Gambling Market
The most active users of online casinos are considered residents of
the United States (USA). The research company Newzoo conducted
an analysis of the online gambling market in the country and
compared U.S. players with less gambling British and Australians.
Americans are gamblers
A study by Newzoo found that about
73.9 million U.S. residents are active
users of online casinos. Among them,
52% play gambling for real money,
with 2.6% of customers spend
significant amounts of money. For
comparison, the company counted
the number of casino users in the UK
and Australia. For example, among
British casino customers 64% of 8.9 million bet for money, with 3%
of them prefer to leave a significant amount of money in the
gambling establishment.
Australian players are less active. Newzoo counted that the clients of
online casinos is only 2.4 million people in this country. Among them
only 43% play for money and 3.4% spend large sums. This indicates
that the U.S. residents are gamblers.
Analysis of the age range of U.S. casino customers showed that:

the most active users are men between the ages of 36 and 50
(21% of the total);

Second position is occupied by women aged 36-50 years old,
their 16%,

and in third place are men aged 26 to 35 years.
Less passive users of online casinos are women aged 18 to 25 years
old. Only 6% of American women in this category prefer to gamble.
If you compare the number of
players by gender, the most
active are men. Although male
casino users are only 5% more. It
is worth noting that the statistics
from Australia and the UK are not
very different. In these countries,
the casino customers are 56%
and 54% of men.
Ability to pay U.S. players
According to the research company Newzoo, men are the most likely
to gamble at online casinos. For example, 58% of men make small
bets, but 69% prefer to play for large sums of money.

Female representatives don't leave large amounts of money at the
casinos. If we compare the category of women aged 26-35, 16%
prefer to make small bets and 12% play for big sums. But this
category of men more often bets on large sums of money, and they
account for 27% of the total number of customers. This suggests that
American men are more gambling than the fairer sex.
What kind of gambling do Americans prefer?
Poker is the most popular online gambling game among Americans.
More than 27% of users of gambling establishments prefer to play
this game. It is worth noting that poker is also popular among the
English: 24% of the clients are its admirers.
The second position is occupied by slot machines and over 26% of
Americans actively play the "one-armed bandits". Only 20% of UK
players choose online slots.
Bingo is ranked third by U.S. casino customers. It is played by 17%
of users. If we compare with the British gambling market, the bingo is
more popular here with 23% of customers. Blackjack attracts less
interest, then roulette, video poker and other games of chance.
It is worth noting that roulette is more popular among the British
than among players from the United States. 14% of UK casino
customers play roulette, while only 5% of Americans are fans of the
game.

Analysis of the U.S. online gambling market showed that residents of
the country are gamblers and prefer to place large bets. The most
popular game is poker.
