Justice for Employees with Disabilities is highlighting
yet another case of blatant discrimination in a recent
edition of their newsletter.
In their latest story, they
showcase the story of an
anonymous employee whose
disability actually helped them
uncover unfair treatment in the
courts.
They were able to pick up on nonverbal cues suggesting unfair treatment during an
employment tribunal thanks to years spent reading lips and facial expressions.
Further investigation revealed additional
indiscretions on the part of the judge, leading to an
appeal being launched.
This case raises important questions about biased
treatment of those with disabilities, especially in the
courtroom and workplace.
