                     IS LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE TO CAST IN 
 
CHILDREN OF A LESSER GOD 
MARK MEDOFF 
  
CASTING FOR THE FOLLOWING ACTORS 
 
 
Sarah Norman - mid-twenties. Deaf from birth. 
(This character MUST speak the last line of the show though) 
  
Orin Dennis - in his twenties. Has some resideual hearing: a lip 
reader 
  
Lydia - in her late teens. Has some residual hearing, a lip reader (I 
might have someone for this part- company member 
we'll see if she can do it) 
  
The authors note: The author insists - in any professional production 
of this play - the roles of 
Sarah, Orin and Lydia be perfomred by deaf or hearing impaired 
actors.
