Everyone has a favourite chair in their house. A chair which you feel most comfortable slouching in after a long day at work. The one which you might even fight over because it has advantages such as a better view of the TV. But what happens when your favourite chair begins to sag? When the cushions become flat and worn and the arm rests look like too many coffee cups have rested there? Usually people will consider getting a new sofa. This might suit some people but if you really like your sofa, there is another solution. To get it reupholstered? If you are skilled enough, you can buy your own upholstery supplies online or in a shop and start to do the job yourself. You might need some new wooden feet, some upholstery springs and of course some new foam cushions to put the spring back into the seat. If this is too much like hard work- and it is quite a skilful job - then you could pop along to your local upholsterer to get them to do the job. Whilst this may be more expensive than you'd want, it is still a lot cheaper than getting a new sofa. It pays to get someone skilled to do the job if you want a good result and not feel embarrassed when you have visitors. Upholsters also will have a large range of fabrics and will have the experience to finish the job to a high standard. So if you want to keep your favourite seat but breathe new life into it, pop along to your local upholsterer and see amazing results.
