Arrowroot Capital was formed by Matthew Safaii who previously led the acquisitions team at Actua Corp. (NASDAQ: ACTA; fka ICG Group).  During his tenure at Actua, Matthew identified an opportunity in the market for an established firm to focus on placing smaller sized growth equity checks into growing, mature, and established software companies.  Arrowroot aims to provide equity capital in the range of $5M-$20M, but has access to a much larger pool of capital if needed.  Arrowroot's capital is typically deployed to achieve very distinct goals including, but not limited to: 

• Working capital and growth investment

• Liquidity for Founders and/or Management

• Liquidity for previous Venture or Angel Investors

• Acquisition capital
