EnerNex Named to Prestigious Inc. 5000 for Third
Consecutive Year

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--EnerNex Corporation, a leading provider of engineering
and consulting services to the electric power industry, announced the company was named to the Inc. 5000 list,
Inc.’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. This is the company’s third
consecutive year appearing on the list.
EnerNex has earned a position of 1819 on the 2010 Inc. 5000 list. The firm is one of 99 Tennessee companies
named to this year’s list. The firm experienced a 150 percent revenue growth in the last three years and ranked 45th
among energy companies.
EnerNex President and CEO Jeff Lamoree commented on the award: “We are proud to have such an outstanding
ranking for the third year in a row on the Inc. 5000 list. The firm has undergone significant growth this past year as

In 2009, EnerNex ranked the 1449 position on the Inc. 5000. EnerNex broke the list at 1709 and number 45
among energy companies in 2008.

Despite the fact that most of this year’s measuring period of 2006-2009 took place during the latest recession,
aggregate revenue among the companies on the list actually increased to $321.6 billion, up more than 50 percent
from last year. The effects of the recession are seen, however, in the median three-year growth rate, which dropped
to 96 percent from last year’s 126 percent. This year’s Inc. 5000 employ a record 1.4 million people, up from one
million on last year’s list. With unemployment remaining stubbornly high, policymakers and business leaders w
