Over the past year we have been largely focused on improving our site’s
functionality. We noticed our users’ content was being buried underneath spam,
and we wanted to make sure this wasn’t limiting our effectiveness and outreach.
Our goal was to prevent bad content from being indexed by Google and harming
our credibility, and so we began making changes to the way we index uploaded
content.
As we began putting these improvements into place, however, we decided to
take the opportunity to make additional changes to our site’s design and structure
as well. Uploading and organizing your documents should be a quick and simple
process, and we felt our current interface had grown a little outdated since our
last update. We wanted to improve some of our more valuable features and
relocate them for more convenient use, as well as brighten up and modernize our
interface.
We’ve already begun implementing some of these new features, such as our
expanded list of categories and stricter content filters, and are preparing to
release the rest in late spring. We’ll be offering new document viewer
orientations, a redesigned embed, a better tagging and categorization system,
and a deletion scheme designed to keep your best content circulating. If you

As you look forward to the changes ahead we advise users to take a look at how
you can make the best use of edocr. Free accounts will still have access to our
basic upload features and limited storage, but their documents will not be
indexed or given SEO unless it is specifically requested and approved. Paying
users, however, will benefit from a variety of valuable tools and features specific
