Los Angeles Acting Bootcamp Taught by VIPs For Up And Coming Stars In The Making Heat up your acting career this summer with the return of an exclusive Hollywood bootcamp. Under the guidance of award-winning actor and director Walid Chaya you will be learning from the best in the biz this August. Studio For Performing Arts LA will be holding an exclusive bootcamp for aspiring and working actors. The course will run over three days, from Wednesday the 11th to Friday the 13th of August. The announcement of this in- person summer program is timed with the reopening of Hollywood after a long period of downtime due to the global pandemic. With more actors than ever seeking to find their way into or back into the industry after this significant production pause, Walid Chaya is offering this opportunity for you to learn more about your craft and network with high-ranking industry profiles. Over the course of this three-day experience, you will work with five casting professionals and film directors before performing in a showcase before eight different talent agents and managers. In particular, under the close tutelage of these experienced industry professionals, you will take a number of unique masterclasses, with each class focusing on a unique dimension of the craft of acting and the industry itself. Interested actors must apply online for approval as only a limited number of actors are selected to participate through an online screening process. Actors must be over 17 years of age. An online bootcamp is also available for those that can not make it in-person to attend the Los Angeles bootcamp. The studio also offers a Performing Arts Summer Camp for Kids/Teens. Walid Chaya is an award-winning director and actor who has recently been seen on television in 'Madam Secretary' for CBS, 'Blacklist: Redemption' for NBC and 'The Looming Tower' for Hulu. A graduate of VCUarts he is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the Stage Directors Choreographer Society.
