These Chaplains Help Teachers & Students At Public School Navigate Life’s Challenges The National School Chaplain Association offers chaplain services for public schools, providing moral and spiritual support for students in need. The NSCA offers chaplains that are well-equipped to listen, counsel, and comfort students struggling with the challenges of adolescence. Since the horrific Columbine High School shooting in 1999, mass shootings at schools in the United States have risen at a terrible rate.
