Dell Inc. Receives OCEG Certification for Design 
of Its FCPA Compliance Program

PHOENIX--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--OCEG is pleased to announce the issuance of a GRC Capability 
Design Certification for Dell Inc.’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance program. This certification 
indicates that Dell has met the design standards of the OCEG GRC Capability Model, commonly referred to as the 
Red Book. “This certification recognizes that Dell has properly applied Red Book practices regarding governance, 
risk management and compliance in designing its FCPA compliance program,” said Carole Switzer, President of 
OCEG. “While not a point in time certification of FCPA compliance, it is an acknowledgement that Dell has taken 
significant, proactive steps to design a program that will enhance its ability to appropriately prevent, detect and react 
to non-compliance.”

Officer for Dell. “It recognizes our most recent efforts to effectively operationalize Dell’s longstanding commitment to

transparency into the steps the company has taken to establish a strong and effective approach to governance, risk 
management and compliance (GRC). By following the practices set out in the Red Book, an organization can 
improve and mature its GRC capability and overall performance,” said OCEG Chairman, Scott Mitchell.  
GRC Capability Certification is available for an organization’s program addressing any risk area, such as anti-
corruption, employment compliance or government contracts, for example, or it may be applied to key practices 
such as risk assessment, training or issue management across all risk issues a company faces.
