Calling to the remote monitors is digital, with built-in electronic directory for up to 1,000 names/users and up to 16 characters each. Each 944 series panel includes a 12-button keypad, 4-line backlit LCD display indicating instructions and selected names, UP and DOWN scroll buttons, Call and Reset buttons, and protective rain hood. The 944 series panel is designed for surface mounting on the fin- ished wall surface and is finished in natural anodized (clear) aluminum finish. Required to program panel, if the model 955 concierge master is not being used. 6941 200 station capacity main power supply 6942 200 station capacity booster power supply ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS The digital-dial intercom entrance panel(s) shall be the Alpha Communications®/Elvox™ (Digi-Bus™) 944 se- ries, or approved equal. Electronic panel(s) shall be in natural (clear) anodized aluminum finish complete with microphone and loudspeaker, 12-button keypad, 4-line backlit LCD display indicating instructions and selected names, UP and DOWN scroll buttons, Call and Reset buttons, and protective rain hood. The built-in electronic circuit shall be on interchangeable cards and shall con- tain external and internal volume controls. Unit shall be full surface mount type and shall require no flush back box or housing. Unit shall require the model 950 field programming unit. Contractor shall install as per manufacturers instructions and shall observe all local and national electrical codes.
