CleanSource Responses to County of San Diego, CA Request for Clarification

Provide written confirmation of one of the following two items:
1.
Strategic Marketing Alliance (SMA): If SMA has the authority to
speak for and commit members of the alliance to participate in and
fulfill the intent of the National IPA section of the solicitation,
SMA shall provide written confirmation that SMA will be responsible
for coordinating national distribution of products with members of
their alliance. Provide details of the national distribution plan.
SMA has the authority to speak for the SMA membership and commit the
alliance to participate and fulfill the intent of the National
I.P.A. SMA commitment letter is attached.
The details of the distribution plan are specified in the attached
NIPA national account processes.
2.
Provide written clarification that CleanSource will be responsible
for coordinating national distribution of products with members of
SMA. Provide written confirmation that CleanSource has the authority
to speak for and commit other members to participate in and fulfill
the intent of the National IPA section of the solicitation. If
CleanSource does not have this authority, provide individual
agreements from members of SMA that they will participate in and
fulfill the intent of the National IPA section of the solicitation.
CleanSource will be the lead coordinator for SMA and its
participating member. CleanSource does have the authority to speak
for and commit the SMA membership to participate and fulfill the
intent of the NIPA requirements.
• The narrative of the proposal, (pg.8 of 21 Section C, Exhibit A Paragraph
5.10), and the flow chart in the technical proposal 2.2.3 Order-System-
Delivery page 2 of 2 conflict. One is within two days, and the other one
is twice a week. Provide clarification of the delivery schedule.
The Flow chart has been corrected to reflect that CleanSource will make
deliveries “within 2 days”. See Attached.
