Special Firefighting Procedures:
Firefighters should wear NIOSH approved pressure demand self-contained breathing apparatus, water
spray may be ineffective.  Do not use water, except as fog.  Closed containers exposed to fire may be 
cooled with water.

Avoid all ignition sources.  Closed containers may explode if exposed to extreme heat.  Vapors may 
travel to a source of ignition and flashback.

Toxicity:
Toxic by inhalation, skin contact, and ingestion.  Central nervous system depressant.
Effects of Overexposure:
Irritation of eyes, nose and throat; can cause dizziness and nausea.  Chronic Exposure:  respiratory 
problems,dermatitis, central nervous system damage.
Emergency and First Aid Procedures:
Skin:
Wash with soap and water.  Remove wet clothing.  Wash clothing before re-wearing.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air.  Give artificial respiration, if necessary.
Ingestion: Do not give liquids.  Do not cause vomiting.  Obtain medical assistance.
Eyes:
Flush with water for 15 minutes, seek medical attention.
WARNING:  This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or 
other reproductive harm.

Section VII.  SAFE HANDLING, USE AND DISPOSAL
Steps to be Taken in the Event of a Spill or Discharge:
Evacuate area and provide maximum ventilation.  Unprotected workers should move upwind
of spill.  Only personnel wearing the proper personal protective equipment should be permitted
in area.  Take precautions to prevent contamination of ground and surface waters, such as,
dike area to contain spill, recover or absorb spilled material with absorbent.  DO
NOT flush to sewer.  Avoid ignition sources.
Disposal Procedures:
Contaminated material should be disposed of in a permitted hazardous waste management
facility.  Recovered liquids may be processed or incinerated, or must be treated at a permitted
hazardous waste management facility.  Allow absorbent to dry before disposing.

Section VIII.  EMPLOYEE PROTECTION MEASURES
Ventilation:
Local Exhaust--Use in a vented area, avoid breathing vapors.
General--Adequate to keep exposure at or below PEL.
Respiratory Protection:
None required for adequately vented work area.  Use NIOSH approved self-
contained or supplied air respirators for emergencies.
Eye/Skin Protection:
Wear safety glasses or splash goggles.  DO NOT wear contacts when 
working with chemicals.  Protective gloves and clothing if there is prolonged
or repeated contact of liquid with skin.  Provide safety shower and eyewash
in immediate work area.
Section IX.  STORAGE AND HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
Store in cool, dry area.  Storage area must have good ventilation.  Keep container closed when not in use.
Avoid contamination of water supplies.  Use appropriate personal protective equipment.  Store with lid on 
firmly.  Do NOT store in confined areas such as trailers.
Special Precautions:
Product fumes will accumulate in low lying areas.  Avoid repeated breathing
of vapors.  DO NOT take internally.  Avoid contact with eyes.  Keep in cool
room or store at room temperature.
