SAFE HANDLING, USE AND DISPOSAL Steps to be Taken in the Event of a Spill or Discharge: Evacuate area and provide maximum ventilation. Unprotected workers should move upwind of spill. Only personnel wearing the proper personal protective equipment should be permitted in area. Take precautions to prevent contamination of ground and surface waters, such as, dike area to contain spill, recover or absorb spilled material with absorbent. DO NOT flush to sewer. Avoid ignition sources. Disposal Procedures: Contaminated material should be disposed of in a permitted hazardous waste management facility.
