Annotation and Mark-up
With the Accusoft PrizmDoc Viewer annotation and mark-up tool integrated
as a standard feature, edocr allows users to make additional edits to already
uploaded documents. You can find the Annotation feature located in the bar
above the document viewer next to the view and search tools.
When the Annotate tool is selected you will see the Annotate tool selection
bar take the place of the View tool selection bar on the left side of the viewer.
The tools allow the document to be edited in several different ways, including
adding various shapes, freehand drawing, typing and highlighting, stamping,
and inserting images or hyperlinks. You can also edit setting such as color,
thickness, and opacity for many of these features as well You can see how all
of these tools can be used in image below:
After making annotations to a document, edocr also offers users a range of
ways to save documents with the new changes they make. If you own the
document being annotated and are an edocr Premium customer, the 'Save
Annotations' tool located at the top of the tool bar gives you the ability to
either save your annotated document as a new document, or even replace
the original document with the edited version. If you do not own the
document being annotated and are an edocr Premium customer you are
offered the ability to save as a new document in your "My Documents"
Collection under your edocr profile. As a non-premium user you are still able
to either print or download annotated documents, though users must be
logged in to edocr in order to have access to the 'Save' button.
These features make it easier for users to make quick updates and edits to
any announcements or calendars embedded on their website, as well as
offers a way for other users to make comments on uploads and repurpose
them for their own use.
