Stop Squeezing Me *From the Bad Boy Chronicles Collection

I’ve been off the grid, literally, since I was illegally evicted nearly 2 years ago. Still fighting my lawsuit
against the Related Companies & still acclimating to living in a van. Everyone who knows me knows
I’m a survivor, not a victim. So, I really wanted to get back to all my creative endeavors-which do
include editorials on “Bad Boys.” You know, those bratty rich boys who think squeezing those of us
who have nearly nothing is acceptable.
Well, stop squeezing me & anyone else you’re abusing. Go after the real demons. The huge
corporations with too much power & money who are completely corrupt in their greed & often illegal in
their activities. No one seems to be holding them to account. They immorally & unethically poison,
bribe, blackmail, bully & threaten anyone who dares complain. I can attest firsthand to the damages
the Related Companies inflicted on nearly 400 seniors, many of whom were disabled & had other
underlying health issues. They complained of headaches & breathing problems from the asbestos &
silica dust, and the black mold. Some have since died. Still, no response from anyone in a position to
help.
It’s a simple concept really. If I must decide between food, water, gas & medicine for me & my dog, or
pay debts that were forced on me by the Related Companies intentional neglect & bullying…well that’s
an easy decision to make.
We are all tired of being squeezed by billionaires who try to make us believe they’ve treated us fairly.
Tired of bait & switch policies. Tired of paying for things we’d never have needed to, had these bratty
boys not forced us into a corner very few can get out of.
The first time I had to declare bankruptcy, it was because of a personal choice to buy a home with
someone. I put everything in my name because his credit was awful & mine hovered near 800, so we
got a better mortgage. A few years later, he simply left without paying a penny of what he owed.
Bratty indeed.
I will declare bankruptcy again this year, as a result of the professional misdeeds of the Related
Companies, who by the way have been publically written up for bribery & corruption-see the NFL fines
they were charged with. What they’ve done is hire 3 different law firms to distract, stall, delay &
ultimately get my case for Negligence against them thrown out. They & their lawyers are grotesque in
their capabilities to do this & have no problem lying about anything & everyone to fit their narrative of
not being guilty. But. They. Are.
Have you seen any billionaires go into towns & offer to build tiny home communities? Hmmm, don’t
think so. Instead, they cheat, cut corners, don’t pay their fair share of taxes, then turn around &
threaten anyone who dares complain about unhealthy & unsafe living conditions. The wave of nearly 2
million homeless & growing, is the result of huge companies like Related & their disgusting profit-
before-people policies.
People are sick & tired of not being able to live decently. I pride myself on living well-no matter what.
That’s why I am putting together lots of new work that I hope will help people to live lives that are
healthier, happier, more informed & inspired. In the interim, I will continue to call out the “Bad Boys”
who have polluted a once great nation & turned it into a hamper full of struggling people who once had
productive & prosperous lives. We want you to know that you must stop squeezing us asap!
