Letter from the Township Manager~ Hello! My name is Jeri Diesinger and I have been appointed as your new Township Manager. I am a professional geologist who spent 13 years as an environmental consultant. Since 1999 I worked for municipal entities; most recently functioning as Director of Engineering Services for the Township of Spring in Berks County. I am a certified Master Planner in Berks County and certified in the National Incident Management System (NIMS). My first week at West Pikeland was spent getting up to speed on the issues and concerns most affecting the Township. Ed Hill, Interim Township Manager, graciously provided me with information regarding the various current projects. We met with the Township Engineer, Ted Gacomis, P.E., vice president of E.B.Walsh and Associates, Inc. and toured portions of the Township. I have joined the Chester County Managers Consortium to network with other Township Managers because discussing and understanding issues typical of local Townships will benefit everyone. An immediate goal is to update this website with links to information of particular interest for the residents and businesses in the Township. I hope to make the website user friendly and something to visit on a regular basis to find new information about the workings of your Township. Look for changes coming soon! I am delighted to be part of this wonderful community and promise to do my utmost to keep the lines of communication open. Our new municipal offices and dedicated Township staff are located in the Historic District along Art School Road. Don’t hesitate to stop in and say hello.
