EXECUTIVE SUMMARY. PROBLEM 1) There are millions of rabid Bollywood fans living outside of India who have no legal access to new Indian films. 2) Indian filmmakers are seeking a trusted, sanctioned method of international distribution to increase their opening weekend gross and curb their billion dollar piracy problem. SOLUTION Dingora provides a platform for filmmakers to release films to an international audience on the same day as their theatrical release. Dingora allows filmmakers to: ● Beat piracy by releasing HD quality content before the low quality, camcorder shot videos hit the Internet ● Control ticket price, run dates and countries or cities to show or block movies, avoiding theatrical release overlap ● Protect movies with proprietary fingerprinting technology and the maximum rights management security available ● Reach new international viewers spending more per ticket TEAM Dingora is founded by Pankaj Sikka, the creator of PassionforCinema.com (PFC). His site has developed a community of hardcore fans of Indian and independent world cinema. PFC hosts the blogs of many of India's most prestigious directors, writers and actors. This network brings a remarkable list of advisors to Dingora, like: Anurag Kashyap (Director/Producer - Udaan, Black Friday), Saurabh Shukla (Award winning Actor/Writer/Director), and Christina Marouda (President of the International Film Festival of LA). Pankaj has proven his ability to source Indian content by securing 12 small to medium budget Indian films prepared to release with Dingora. Based on negotiations with several larger studios, it is clear that increasing Dingora’s marketing and legal footprint will assist in securing additional top-tier Bollywood blockbusters. In December 2009, SproutBox selected Dingora to receive a $250,000 investment of cash and services. Working with the SproutBox team, Dingora has gone from an idea to a revenue-ready product, ready for deployment in early June. FINANCIAL OUTLOOK Dingora is projected to reach profitability in month 16 with a positive monthly cash flow of $50K by month 24. By year 5, Dingora would have an annual revenue run rate of $84 million capturing approximately 10% of the initially targeted non-resident Indian market. Fueled by these profits and/or additional capital, Dingora would expand into additional foreign and US independent film markets, crossing the $100 million revenue mark and establishing itself as a global brand in international and independent cinema. Dingora would also have strong appeal as an early stage acquisition target. Indian production houses like UTV, global movie distribution companies like Buena Vista and streaming companies like YouTube (via Google) would value Dingora’s cultivated relationships, established customer base, and proprietary anti-piracy technology. INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY Dingora is seeking $1 million in working capital. This capital will be used for marketing the initial launch and to cover all additional technology, legal and operations costs required to reach profitability.
