Sixty one bids were received for the February round of bidding.
40 bids were approved.
National bids (will initially create up to 3,703 jobs)
• National Association of Citizen Advice Bureaux will create up to 215
jobs.
• National Trust will create up to 247 jobs.
• National skills academy for Sport will create up to 3,000 jobs.
• New Deal of the Mind we are in discussions to agree how many jobs will be
funded.
• Community Transport will create up to 31 jobs.
• V-Russell will create up to 200 jobs.
• Big issue will create up to 10 jobs.
London Bids (will create up to 617 jobs)
• London Borough of Tower Hamlets will create up to 50 jobs.
• Orient Regeneration will create up to 100 jobs.
• Call Britannia will create up to 45 jobs.
• Poplar HARCA will create up to 40 jobs.
• City Gateway will create up to 62 jobs.
• The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames will create up to 100 jobs.
• Link – Wed will create up to 60 jobs.
• The Guinness Trust will create up to 30 jobs.
• Media Trust will create up to 50 jobs.
• Harmony House Dagenham will create up to 80 jobs.
East of England (will create up to 238 jobs)
• Peterborough City Council will create up to 238 jobs.
